After graduating from St. Olaf College in 2015, Cassie spent her LVC volunteer year in Minneapolis advocating for affordable housing with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, where she grew her interest in local history and her love for making advocacy fun and accessible for all.…

Emerson Williams-Molett

Emerson Williams-Molett graduated from Grinnell College with a degree in Political Science and studied project management at the University of St. Thomas. Prior to joining the board, he volunteered at Legal Action of Wisconsin, a placement in Milwaukee. Since completing his service year, Emerson has remained involved with LVC, interviewing applicants, volunteer support, and assisting with fundraising efforts.

Jeff Yamada is a financial planner living with his three children and an assortment of pets in Norman, Oklahoma. He is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and comes from a family of inadvertent social activists. His mother’s family descended from Quakers who came to Pennsylvania in the 17th century, and his father’s family was interned in US concentration camps during World War II, even though they were all US citizens (and his grandfather a WWI US Army veteran).…
