As a graduate of Wittenberg University, he has focused his career on advocacy for under-resourced and new immigrant communities. Tait completed his year of service with LVC in 1998 in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to the Twin Cities of Minnesota where he spent another year becoming an ACORN trained community organizer.…

Ms. Hamre provides accounting and financial services for nonprofit organizations, including a performing arts center, a youth orchestra, a program for victims of domestic abuse, a small trade association and its related foundation, an Indian dance company, a program for at-risk youth, Luther Place Church (founder of LVC), and of course, LVC.  She has also held leadership positions in several of these organizations. …

Nathan grew up in West and Southern Africa and attended St. Olaf College where he studied French, Political Science, and Philosophy. He is passionate about racial justice and peacebuilding and facilitated anti-racism workshops and dialogue groups while at St. Olaf. After college, he was an LVCer in Washington, DC and worked with ELCA’s Advocacy office in Washington, DC before joining LVC.…

Drea grew up in central Pennsylvania and did a year of service in Oregon before attending Goshen College in northern Indiana, where she studied English, Piano Pedagogy and TESOL. After college, she participated in another volunteer year with the Church of the Saviour in Washington, DC prior to joining LVC.
