Our goal is to prevent child abuse and to promote healing among children who have experienced abuse.
Since 1993, the Family Enhancement Center has expanded its services and we now offer parent education support programs, a full range of counseling services, parent assessments, and in home parent development services.
The Intake Coordinator will speak to potential clients and referrals on the phone and in person. The Intake Coordinator will gather information about problems the potential client is experiencing and what services they are interested in. The Intake Coordinator will triage the clients based on severity and need. They will make decisions about which staff would work best with the client and facilitate the match.
In addition, the Intake Coordinator will enter information into an electronic medical record, scan documents, answer phone calls, and greet clients when they arrive for service at the FEC office.
The Intake Coordinator will have an opportunity to develop community awareness and fundraising events as well as assist with already developed events.
The Intake Coordinator will have an opportunity to participate in leadership of a therapy skills group with youth who have experienced trauma.
