Casa Romero

Casa Romero: Remember to give thanks, always!

Greetings from Casa Romero!! It’s almost time for our first Fall Retreat and last but not least, turkey day! As we are fresh and adjusting to the LVC life, we have expressed moments of gratitude to one another while embracing the challenges we face as a house. We are still going through the journey of finding ways to appreciate everything and give back to the community we live in, while building a strong foundation in our community in the Casa Romero House. Casa Romero: A Day In Chicago

My name is Levi Todd (photo above, 3rd from left) and I’m placed with Namarig Kram (photo above, right, front), another LVC volunteer, atRead More →

LVC is facing the light and preparing to bloom! 🌼We are making the invisible work behind our mission our top priority in the coming Service Year season. ✨LVC is blessed with a remarkable trellis—a community of alums, dedicated supporters, and volunteers across the country, an invigorated board, a mission-driven staff, and a network of Placement Partners and churches who understand the commitment and tenacity it takes to create lasting change. 🌎Your gift now ensures that LVC Fellows emerge as deeply rooted and well-supported leaders who can carry the weight of the full-time work for justice. 💚Use this link to donate to the LVC General Fund! ⬇️www.lvc.salsalabs.org/donate ... Our Placement Partner application window for our 2027/2028 season is open until December 31st, 2026! 💚We're seeking diverse causes in the Washington DC or Twin Cities regions, with a special interest in immigration related causes. You can set a meeting with our Chief Program Officer, Shae, to discuss how LVC can find your next star player for a fraction of the cost of a traditional employee. ✨Set a meeting with Shae here! ----> calendly.com/ageeshae/lvcprelim ...
