Explore Palestine & Israel with LVC

Take a fresh look with Lutheran Volunteer Corps alumna Doris Warrell and friends at a contemporary and ancient land with a groundbreaking multiple perspective tour of Palestine & Israel!

Jerusalem_web_1Sustainable Living, Intentional Community and Peace with Justice in Palestine and Israel

With a unique approach that accesses contemporary issues through personal storytelling, relationship-building, and facilitated discussions with conflict resolution professionals, and with a dash of LVC’s commitment to respective differing perspectives, working for a better future for all people, and embracing the joy that life offers, this journey
is your opportunity to meet local politicians, artists, journalists and activists; learn about contrasting national narratives; and explore future prospects for justice, security, and peace in the region.Jerusalem_web_2

Featuring Israeli, Palestinian, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and Druze speakers – conservatives, moderates and progressives— you’ll be on a journey of answering your own questions about this region – or creating new ones to consider! With time for discussion, reflection, and fun, join us on this unique exploration of the complex issues facing Israelis and Palestinians, and celebrates the hospitality and vibrant cultures of their local communities. Read more about the tour.

Travel dates are May 4 to May 14, 2016 and tour cost (without airfare & additional insurance) is $2,990 per person. The tour cost includes a donation to LVC.

A $300 deposit per person is due by Monday, January 4, 2016 to hold your place. Final payment is due by Monday, March 21, 2016.
