LVC16 Volunteer Spotlight: Laura Proescholdt

LVC16 Volunteer Spotlight: Laura Proescholdt

At the Minnesota Housing Partnership, current Volunteer Laura Proescholdt, delved into the world of affordable housing advocacy.

As the Development & Policy Associate, her typical day found her writing a blog post on a successful community development project in rural Minnesota, setting up and attending meetings between legislators and leaders in the affordable housing sector, sitting in on committee hearings at the State Capitol, or planning fundraising and engagement events. Laura learned that affordable housing is key to equitable, thriving communities, and is determined to continue to work on this issue after her time with Lutheran Volunteer Corps.

Laura is a graduate of Luther College and is from Cumberland, WI.
