Volunteer Spotlight: Marit Johnson, ELCA Justice for Women

Volunteer Spotlight: Marit Johnson, ELCA Justice for Women

Current Chicago LVCer Marit Johnson is serving this year in the ELCA Churchwide Office, Chicago Office as the Justice for Women Program Assistant.

Living in intentional community can be one of the most rewarding and challenging parts of an LVC year. Marit shares, “Practicing patience and active listening is so important when living in community. It’s difficult, but I believe it creates stronger and more honest relationships.”

Marit is a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and is from Park River, North Dakota.

We'd love to be reintroduced to you and learn more about your journey since your LVC Service Year. 🌎We're going to be bringing back the classics for the next few weeks. If you see any familiar faces, tag them in our comments with their Service Year and City! 😄 ... See MoreSee Less
