LVC Welcomes New President!

WASHINGTON, DC, September 24, 2018 — After a nationwide search, Lutheran Volunteer Corps (LVC) announces the appointment of its new president, Deirdre Bagley.  Bagley joined LVC for its annual National Orientation and board meeting in Chicago, in August, to transition into the role, which begins officially on October 1. Bagley has spent her career serving nonprofits as CEO, COO, and deputy executive director, for organizations with membership from 60 to 100,000; managing budgets up to $30 million; and leading programs, operations, special events, student and regional programs, training, fundraising, human resources, executive and event speech writing and video scripting, and organizational development. November News: Welcoming Tait Danielson Castillo

In September, we welcomed LVC Baltimore Alum (1997-1998) Tait Danielson Castillo onto our staff as our Major Gifts Officer. Tait has been raising funds and building upon the strengths of non-profits for over 20 years. As a graduate of Wittenberg University, he has focused his career on advocacy for under-resourced and new immigrant communities.  Tait completed his year of service with LVC in 1998 in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to the Twin Cities of Minnesota where he spent another year becoming an ACORN trained community organizer. New LVC Intern – Jamie Ulrich

Greetings! My name is Jamie Ulrich and I am the LVC National Office’s new intern! I am working as the Social Media Coordinator and will be helping out with managing LVC’s social media platforms, coming up with some new ideas for marketing LVC, and updating our database.
